Catalog note / 解説
From Sosaku Hanga folio, "Ichimoku-shu", Vol.4 "Yake-dake". Mt. Yake and Katsura River in autumn. "Ichimoku-shu" was published by a small sosaku-hanga artists group, Ichimoku-kai", established by Koshiro Onchi in 1939. Maeda joined the group around 1940. He noted that Onchi's free idea of the art unbounded by the tradition and other artists in the group gave great inspirations to him.
