Catalog note / 解説
Scene at Ataka-no-Seki in the kabuki play "Kanjincho". Benkei, Yoshitsune and their party were questioned about their identities by Togashi at the check point at Ataka. Benkei managed to make Togashi believe they were the mountain priests collecting contributions for Todai-ji Temple. Togashi was somewhat in doubt but he was impressed by Benkei's performance and let Yoshitsune's party go.
