This is a very rare and gorgeous 25-print limited edition set of Goyo's famous sketchbook beauties. This is the first complete set I have seen in all my days of collecting and researching Japanese art. Some of the sketches will be familiar, having been used as \"genga\" (base sketches) for his woodblock prints. Printed by Sanseido in April of 1976 (not Yuyudo as mentioned by some), the very fine printing process seems to be lithographic or a hybrid litho technique. Each sketch is printed on a fine museum-quality art paper.
