Handsome print by TOSHI YOSHISA entitled "Heirinji, Temple Bell". Originally sold by Kabutoya Galleries in San Francisco - a gallery now long gone, that used to have one of the finest collections of Japanese prints in the country. In excellent condition - fine impression - a lovely example of this important artist's work. Signed in pencil, red seal, uncertain as to date but most probably from between 1950 and 1965. Standard Oban Size - 15 3/43" x 10 1/2" - excellent impression and condition. TOSHI YOSHIDA was born in 1911 in Tokyo as the first son of the hanga artist and painter Hiroshi Yoshida.
