Catalog note / 解説
From the series, "Nihon Rekishi" (History of Japan). No.8. Kojima Takanori. He wrote a poem on a cherry tree to show his loyalty to Emperor Godaigo, who was forced to exile to Oki. Only the emperor knew the meaning of the poem and he was very moved.
