Catalog note / 解説
One of the most popular of all Jacoulet's work, this beautiful Mongol Princess was the last to sell out its entire edition during the artist's lifetime. The model was a Chinese girl living in Seoul, Korea, who posed in a simple white gown. The gorgeous costume and furniture was separately drawn in several versions before Jacoulet settled on the luxurious color scheme. Bronze and pearl metallics. Excerpt from Miles, Richard \"The Prints of Paul Jacoulet\", pp114-115.
