Catalog note / 解説
"Tokakuji". House in Tokakuji temple area, Uwajima city Shikoku, in rain. This temple dates back to more than 360 years, and it features stone Buddhist sculptures covered in red paper that lend the place a mystical aura, especially at night. According to tradition, when sick, if you fix a red piece of paper to the same place of your affliction, you will be cured.
