Sunday, 14 September 2008 Here is a wonderfuL vintage and guaranteed authentic Shin Hanga period Japanese woodblock print in excellent condition exhibiting only one tiny pinhole on LH margin and only very minimal wear along corner edge. The print has two sets of Japanese characters on the LH side margin (see images) which I am guessing is the date and possible publisher and is also signed and having a red seal on the RH bottom edge of woodblock (see images). The woodblock is on washi paper exhibiting EXCELLENT colors and appears to have never been framed or mounted for there are no signs of any tape or adhesive remnants on the back.
