Saturday, 2 June 2007 Rare Shin Hanga Crepe Print #2 Artist: Ito Sozan Format: O-tanzakuban tate chirimen gami-e: 12.75" x 5.5" Subject: A rarely seen crepe edition of a particularly rare Sozan bijin study. Sozan's complete output was kacho ga prints with the exception of three bijin studies. Bijin in a snow shower under an umbrella, turning to look at a Sparrow on a Willow branch. Publisher: Watanabe Date: c.1920's Condition: Edges slightly uneven due to creping process. Paper a little thinned, from a previous matting, at top edge on verso. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state. Colour: Fine Impression: Very fine Estimated Value: ｣200 - ｣300
