Wednesday, 30 August 2006 Seascape Artist Ishiwata Koitsu Year: 1936 Size: 16 1/4" x 10 3/4" Impression: Excellent Color: Excellent Condition: Very Good - 2 tac holes and light soiling upper left margin Dear Ross, Ishiwata Koitsu's print title is asfollows: "水郷の秋（江戸崎）" in Japanese or "SUI GOU no AKI (E DO SAKI or E DO ZAKI)" in reading. Its translation might be "Pond (?-you may know mor proper word) in autumn (Edozaki)" As far as I know, Ishiwata Koitsu used to apply "Shou(庄）" or "Shouichirou （庄一郎）" art name exclusively for Kato Junji publisher. I saw several Ishiwata Shouichito's prints by Kato publisher. Regards, Tosh
