Catalog note / 解説

From publishers Hasegawa - Nishinomiya's poetic "Night Scene Series". A small fishing boat illuminated by a single light. Silhouettes of people on a tall bridge in the dark night are seen on the background. It was said that this print was inspired by Whistler's Bridge. The Crepe print is a mechanically wrinkled print sold as a "curiosity" item. It was often used for children's books, also, because it was more resistant to tears and soil.
