From the series "Showa Shin Dai-Tokyo Fukei Hanga Hyaku Zue" (One Hundred Views of New Great Tokyo in Showa Period). No. 55. Tetsugaku-do (Philosophy Pavilion) in Nakano district. The series depicted the new land marks and people's lives in Tokyo after the devastating Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. It was started in 1928 and finished 12 years later. The prints in this large series were published with slightly different series titles. All the prints which have Kishio's handwritten signatures were made by the artist.
