Early Original Terauchi Watercolor Boats Night Fishing Up for auction here is a wonderful and fine original Japanese watercolor from the 1930's that was done by the artist Fukutaro Terauchi (1891 -?) for the Japanese tourist trade to bring home as a souvenir of one's trip to Japan. This is signed at lower right, and it depicts a night fishing scene in a bay harbor somewhere in Japan, presumably near Yokohama, which is what the framing label on verso says "Minato Trading Co. Picture & Picture Frame No 82.2 Chome. Motomachi. Nakaku. Yokohama tel No. 3009 (Honkyoku)".
