Semi Tori". A little boy came back from his cicada hunting trip in the woods. It was the late summer. The air was hot and filled with the noisy chorus of cicadas. His mother had been busy drying the newly dyed cloth on boards and seemed not noticing he came back. Akio ONDA was one of the best students of Shiko MUNAKATA. He worked as the assistant of Munakata while Munakata taught woodblock printing at Musashino Art Collage.
