Woodblock print with embossing. Elegantly dressed young woman about to wash her hands at a basin in the gateway of Kiyomizu Temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto, on a moonlit night in autumn; behind her can be seen the wooden sculpture of a guardian 'Nio'. Inscribed, signed and sealed.
