Monday, 13 June 2005 You are bidding on an original Japanese woodblock print “Bijin and Fan” from the Taisho/Showa woodblock prints master Iwata Sentaro. The whole set of Iwata Sentaro’s work was bought at a Mitsukoshi Department store in Japan in the 70’s; even then, it was highly valuable. The size of this woodblock print is 16? inches x 12 inches. The artist’s chop mark is at the lower left corner of the woodblock print. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. All four borders are intact.
