This is a beautiful woodblock print by noted shin hanga printmaker Kikuchi Keigetsu. Keigetsu's work can be seen in "The Female Image", the outstanding work on 20th century bijin-ga prints, although the print displayed in the book is not nearly as nice an image as this one. It is quite a large print, about double oban size, measuring about 20 x 14 or so plus margins. Sealed with red seal lower lefthand margin. There is extensive use of silver metallic pigment in the girl's kimono, and gold metallic pigment in the sleeve.
