Friday, 22 June 2007 This is a RARE Original Japanese watercolour Painting by KOBAYASHI TOKUSABURO. Kobayashi Tokusaburo, Japanese, watercolour, Cherry Blossom, c.1930. A truly delightful watercolour from Kobayashi Tokusaburo, one of the Japanese masters of Western-style painting. The soft outlines and delicate colouirs perfectly captures the beauty of Japan’s famous cherry blossom on a soft Spring morning. The watercolour, which is in very good condition, measures 32 x 49cm (12?” x 19?”). It is offered in its original traditional Japanese frame which measures 45.5 x 62cm (18” x 24?”).(The glass has been removed for safety in transportation.)
