Catalog note / 解説
"Fuukei" (Landscape). From the Sosaku Hanga folio, "Hanga" which was published during 1924-30, sold by subscription. The folio was in the permanent collection of Machida City International Print Museum in Tokyo. Seizo was the master of "Koguchi Mokuhan" (Wood Engraving). His series of 8 small wood-engraving prints in 1932 was regarded as the master pieces of this difficult technique. He also carved and printed some of Hasui Kawase and Koshiro Onchi's works. His works are revered and expensive in Japan.
