2006年2月20日 You are bidding on a very beautiful and rare Japanese woodblock print “Bijin with Purple Head Scarf” signed by the famous early Showa (1930s-1950s) Shin Hanga woodblock print artist and famous poet Fukiya Koji (1898-1979). Fukiya Koji, who was born in Shibata, Prefecture was a painter as well as a famous poet, who composed the poem "Hanayome-Ningyo" (The Bride Doll). There is a Fukiya Koji memorial museum in 4-11-7 Chuo-cho, Shibata Prefecture in Japan opened since 1987. This museum displays his famous art as well as introducing visitors to his life story.
