Thursday, 20 August 2009 Comments - Lovely shin hanga woodblock of a beautiful young woman combing her hair. She wears a blue and white cotton kimono with an embossed white design, one sleeve slipping off her shoulder to reveal her creamy white skin tinged with the palest pink touches. She has a dreamy expression, her dark eyes large and luminous, and her hair is softly arranged with loose tendrils escaping. A wonderful classic 20th century beauty print, beautifully printed with fine details. Would make a striking framed display.
