Tuesday, 20 January 2009 Japanese Block Print of Snow Capped Mount Fuji from the Outside Deck at Dusk - printed on Rice Paper - used as a Greeting Card 3-3/4" by 5-3/4" This is a wood block print of the Mountain with snow at dust. The vantage point is from a covered deck with a lite lantern and stars in the sky. The colors are bright and vivid and the block print is in perfect condition. There is a red artist mark in the bottom right hand corner. The print is attached to a greeting card or folded piece of paper. The inside of the card says "Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". My Aunt received this greeting card from her friend Chizuko Tmai in 1949. This print was stored…
