Sunday, 9 January 2011 Original Minoru Kawashima (1910 - 1980) Japanese Woodblock Print Stallion Comments - Terrific modern sosaku hanga print by Minoru Kawashima of several stallions, their bodies rendered in striking abstract patterns of swirling lines in black, gray, tan, and blue. The waving manes and tails are printed in a metallic silver pigment, the subtle shimmer adding to the sense of movement.
