Nison-in temple of the Tendai sect, on Mt. Ogura in Sogano. Buddha and Bodhisattva who were enshrined in the main hall were depicted in front. The temple's name came from the fact that there are two deities here: of the founding Buddha and of one who has reached enlightenment (Nison=Two Revered Images)..
