Catalog note / 解説
Kabuki scene from the play, "Imoseyama Onna Teikin" performed at Inari Shrine Theater in March, 1860. Ichikawa Yonezo III is in the role of Omiwa (left) and Nakamura Masajiro I is Motome. Enjaku was a mysterious but highly regarded Osaka artist for his technical and artistic accomplishments. Only about 150 designs by him are known.
