材質: 大短冊判 錦絵 寸法: 38.6×17.2cm 員数: 1枚 所蔵: 東京国立博物館 画中には、一見、漢詩風に「鳴けばこそ別れをおしめ鶏の音の きこえぬ里の暁もがな」と和歌が万葉仮名で記されています。鶏と朝顔と番傘が複雑に配置されていますが、それらのモチーフが、画面の右上から左下へとすっきりと構成されて絶妙な構図で描かれています。
