One Hundred Views of Edo: # 39 Artist: Hiroshige I Format: Oban tate-e: 14.5" x 9.75" Subject: 'Distant View of Kinryuzan Temple and Azuma Bridge'. A gust of Spring wind carries a shower of cherry petals over the roof of a pleasure boat with a half hidden Geisha with an elaborate hairpin and an elegantly patterned Obi and overgarnment, which is setting out from the Mukojima side of the Sumida and heading across to the mouth of the San'ya Canal.
