Colour woodblock triptych print. From an album of 78 prints. The kabuki actor Bando Hikosaburo V in the role of Myomyo dojin, the kabuki actor Nakamura Shikan IV in the role of Aranada Taro, the kabuki actor Ichikawa Sadanji I in the role of Bansuke, in the play 'Zenaku ryowa myomyo guruma' performed at the Shintomi theatre, Tokyo, from January 1876 (Meiji 9).
