You are bidding on an original Japanese woodblock print series "The Current Fifty-Four Views, Number Fifty-Four" by the famous Meiji artist Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900), made in Meiji 17, which is 1884. The print size is 14 inch x 9 1/2 inches. The chop stamp of the artist?s signature is at the lower right corner of this woodblock print. This woodblock print is attached to a very thin Japanese Washi paper to protect it from tearing and forming wormholes so ink bleeding can still be seen through the back of print. There are four borders (margins) intact. The publication date, publisher?s name and carver's seal are in the lower left border. There are some minor stains in the borders due to…
