A Chinese interior, showing Konomura Oinosuke, the father of Ishikawa Goemon, in Chinese dress, holding an unrolled kakemono of a hawk on a pine-branch; the hawk has come to life and flies off carrying a white cloth with a message written in Oinosuke's blood (Inset: a village at the foot of a mountain). Woodblock print, oban tate-e.
