Woodblock print, oban tate-e, five prints commemorating five special dance performances by Onoe Tamizo II at the Kawarazaki theater in the first month of Tenpo 13 (1842): 1) Shakkyo--lion dancer in Ishibashi, an actor on a rock with a long flowing mane of hair; 2) Manzai--New Year's dance, lavishly dressed dancer with a drum; 3) Tojin--a Chinese dance, an actor with an elevated leg; 4) Komori--a child's dance, a woman with a lute and an octopus; and 5) Yakko-dako--a servant as a kite, with a bird nearby.
