Catalog note / 解説
From "Hyakunin Isshu no Uchi" ("One Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets"). The Empress Jito is enjoying the view from her room. Her poem reads, "The Spring has passed. The summer comes again. For the silk-white robes, so they say, are spread to dry on the "Ama no kabuyama" (Mount of Heaven's Perfume)".
