Catalog note / 解説
Although Öshö's stepmother was cruel to him, he was devoted to her as a filial son. As a gesture of reconciliation with her, Öshö tried to catch her favorite fish from a frozen lake in the middle of winter to offer her as a delicacy. He lay down over the surface of the lake with his body exposed to melt the ice, allowing him to catch the fish. After a short while, two fish jumped out, rewarding his self-sacrifice.
