Catalog note / 解説
"Tokaido Goju-san Tsugi no Uchi" ("Tokaido Fifty-three Stations") Station Ishibe. This series is called "Bijin Tokaido" because of the beautiful women depicted in each design. Kunisada borrowed the background designs from Hiroshige's famous Tokaido series.
