Catalog note / 解説
The courtesan Hinazuru is depicted with her two attendants Tsuruji and Tsuruno. She wears a black uchikae (outer robe) with a wisteria design. The kimono is unusual because the motifs look like real vines and flowers of a wisteria laying on the kimono. The obi (sash) with peony patterns is truly stunning.
