"Kagoshima Meianroku" (The Bright and The Dark Sides of Kagoshima Chronicle). Shinohara Kuniko She was a daughter of Shinohara Kunimoto, who was the right-hand man of Saigo Takamori. The text said that she was 16 years old when she fought at the battle of Mt. Hanaoka.
