Japanese woodblock print by Yoshitoshi Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892) One Hundred Aspects of the Moon: Shinobugaoka Moon- Gyokuensai (Tsuki hyakushi: Shinobugaoka no tsuki- Gyokuensai) the young samurai Gyokuensai stands amid falling cherry petal blossoms beside a kimono strung between trees for temporary shelter for a moonlit picnic; signed Yoshitoshi, with artist's seal Taiso, engraver's mark Enkatsu to, and published by Akiyama Buemon Year: 1889 Condition: A very good impression with burnished black-on-black details on the figure's robe, with excellent color, backed, in very good condition. Dimensions: oban tate-e 35.3 by 23.8 cm
