Parody of 24 Paragon of Filial Piety Artist: Chikanobu Format: Oban tate-e: 14" x 9.25" Subject: Enshi who wore a deerskin in order to obtain deer's milk for his ailing mother encounters a hunter (Robinson Crusoe). Publisher: Hasegawa Date: 1881 Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed. Japanese album backing paper. Minor smudges, creases, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage.
