Thursday, 22 February 2007 Nigatsudo Temple, Nara, by Kawase Hasui. No reserve! It’s a woodblock print. It seems to be in pretty good shape, It doesn’t appear to be faded, there’s no foxing, tears or holes. The corners do have faint bend- lines, there’s tape on the upper right hand corner, and tape residue on the upper left corner. Also in that same corner, the paper is a little thinner, probably from the tape being removed. The paper is an all-over biege color. I have very little experience with wood block prints so I don’t know if it has yellowed (very evenly all over) or whether it started out that color.
