From the series "Tokyo Nijukkei" ("Twenty Views of Tokyo"), "Asakusa Kannon no Yukibare". After a night full of snowfall, a bright day has begun. Two women are taking a walk beside Asakusa Kannon Temple, enjoying the clear winter air. Asakusa Kannon Temple was build in 645 A.D., dedicated to the Buddhist goddess of compassion, Kannon. It is the oldest temple in Tokyo.
