This print is authentic, not restrike or reproduction. I guarantee it. This is an genuine original Japanese woodblock print by great shin-hanga artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) titled "Cold Morning at Nagaoka, Izu ". It’s extremely rare print, published by Watanabe in 1939. Some prints by Hasui offered now on ebay are later editions of much less quality (sometimes from recarved blocks). This one is the first prewar edition published by Watanabe, and bears appropriate publishers “C” seal on the bottom of right margin.
