Saturday, 17 December 2005 Up for your bidding pleasure is a Kawase Hasui woodblock titled Daigo Denpo Temple, Kyoto. This IS a FIRST STRIKE/EDITION. The print is dated 1950 and bears the Watanabe 6mm (black) seal which was used from 1945 to 1957. Many are easily confused with seals, and their time periods, this is a guaranteed FIRST EDITION. Now, the condition…..what can be said, it is absolutely flawless! It is pristine, it looks as though it were printed yesterday.
