KAWASE HASUI (1883-1957) Ginza in the Snow Date: c. 1936, published by Watanabe Size: approx. 3.75" x 5.75" Condition: Very good, unbacked, bump to right margin, trimmed, small gallery notation on lower back margin Impression: Fine Color: Fine, bright colors A light snow falls on the Ginza in Tokyo on a gray afternoon. Shoppers can be seen in front of a department store. A very rarely seen Hasui yatsugiri print, with an even rarer depiction of an automobile.
