Artist: Kawase Hasui Title: Inland Sea Title: Original Japanese Woodblock Print Series: 1953 Calendar Series Date: c. 1952 Publisher: S. Watanabe. Notes: Twelve prints were commissioned by the Pacific Transport Lines for their 1953 calendar. Few remain in fresh condition, as with this example. A peaceful seascape of the Seto Inland Sea represented the month of July.
