Tonase, wife of Lord Enya Hangan’s retainer Honzo, leads their daughter Konami through the open countryside to be married. Konami is betrothed to the son of Oboshi Yuranosuke,Hangan’s chief retainer. Since it was Honzo who restrained Hangan from killing the evil Lord Ko no Morono, TOnase fears that Hangan’s other retainers may hold a grudge against Honzo and that the engagement will be cancelled. She is travelling to Yuranosuke’s house to force the marriage. Materials: Woodblock print on paper
