"Kyodo Risshi no Motoi" (Heroes and heroines who have been regarded as standards of moral leadership and success). Tango no Tsubone is writing the last poem before being beheaded by a samurai. He was very moved by her poem and he let her go. She and her child later became the founders of the powerful Shimazu clan in the southern Kyushu island.
