Wednesday, 4 August 2010 Title "Cormorant Fishing at Night" (given name) Date c1910-23 Series na Publisher Daikoku-ya (Tokyo publisher, 1818-1923) Seal, Carver/Printer na Image Size 7 1/8 x 13 1/2 ("tanzaku") Impression Very Fine. Skillfully executed "bokashi" shading throughout; nicely visible woodgrain to sky background; light "gauffrage" (embossing) to smoke and reflections; crisp key-lines, much fine detailing.
