"Kurashiki no Roji". A narrow street in Kurashiki in Okayama prefecture. "Kura" is the Japanese name for store houses. In the Edo era, Kurashiki was a prosperous town with storidge houses and mansions of rich merchants. These houses had thick white walls and traditional "Kurashiki style" elements such as Kurashiki window and Namako-wall.
