SHIRO KASAMATSU Battledore Print of Girl with Snow Rabbit Date: 1936, original shin hanga woodcut, no publisher but more than likely published by Watnabe -- listed in the 1936 Watanabe print catalog Size: approx. 6.25" x 15.5" Condition: Good, soiled, crease at botton, thinning at top center verso, edgewear, 1" square old mounting backing at bottom center on verso Impression: VG Color: VG BATTLEDORES were toys in which people of high rank took interest, so that they were gracefully painted, using gold-dust.
