Offered for sale is an original Japanese woodblock print by Shotei Hiroaki (1871-1944), titled After the Storm, c. 1930s, published by Shobido Tanaka. This print is cataloged as #ST-37 on the comprehensive website Shotei.com, where you can also find additional information about the artist and publisher. One of the earliest shin hanga school artists, and the first to be recruited by the Watanabe Color Print Co., Shotei's work has been gaining in popularity over the past several years. This print has very fresh colors, and is in very good condition. It is tipped onto a small presentation sheet along the top margin. The dimensions are approximate 3 7/8 by 5 5/8 inches, plus full margins.
